IMPACT INITIATIVES

Turn Revenue Strategy Into Work Teams Can Actually Execute

Mary Beth works in the murky middle where executive goals meet day-to-day execution. She clarifies the outcome, aligns the people responsible for delivering it, and simplifies the processes and systems getting in their way. The result is stronger adoption, faster decisions, and revenue teams that spend less time clicking, debating, and rebuilding—and more time selling.

TACTICAL TIMING

  • Sales cycles are lengthening, but no one can explain where momentum is being lost.

  • Sales reps are rebuilding their own materials because marketing assets do not work in real conversations.

  • A CRM or reporting process requires excessive clicks, duplicate entry, or too many disconnected reports.

  • Sales, marketing, and product are pursuing different priorities under the same go-to-market plan.

  • An acquisition, system integration, or strategic pivot is stalled by conflict and weak adoption.

RECENT RESULTS

THE SITUATION

Following an acquisition, two large Salesforce environments needed to be merged. The project had stalled as departments resisted a strong-arm implementation approach, creating friction, poor buy-in, and growing risk to the integration timeline.

THE WORK

Mary Beth was brought in as a neutral facilitator rather than the technical Salesforce expert. She gave each group a voice, surfaced the real points of resistance, removed ego from the decision-making process, and rebuilt the project around shared outcomes instead of forced compliance.

THE OUTCOME

The combined system was completed two weeks ahead of schedule. The teams moved from resistance and conflict to shared ownership of the work, creating a stronger foundation for adoption after the merger.

BEHIND THE BIO

What life or career experience most shaped the way you approach your work today?

Working across clinical Healthcare IT, revenue operations, and executive leadership taught me that strategy only matters when people can execute it. I have seen smart initiatives fail because teams were misaligned, systems were overbuilt, or leaders skipped the real question: What are we trying to accomplish? That experience shaped my practical, ego-free approach to simplifying work and building buy-in.

What brought you to this community and what keeps you connected to it?

The Central Florida Jeep community became home almost by accident. I bought a Jeep because I liked it, attended an off-road event as a spectator, and was immediately hooked. Ten years later, I help lead one of the region’s largest Jeep charity events. The people, the service, and the opportunity to help others build confidence are what keep me connected.

What do colleagues & clients tend to discover about you after working together?

They discover that I am direct without being careless. I will ask the hard questions, challenge bloated processes, and push for clarity—but I also work hard to make sure people feel heard. I call it grit with finesse. My goal is never to win the argument; it is to help the team reach the right outcome and actually carry the change forward.

What matters to you outside of work that also influences how you lead, advise, or collaborate?

Off-roading reminds me that confidence is often built one instruction, one obstacle, and one small win at a time. For ten years, I’ve helped build trails and guide drivers through Jeepin’ with Judd, which raises more than $200,000 annually for Polk County Sheriff’s charities. That experience influences how I advise teams: respect the fear, explain the mechanics, and help people discover they are more capable than they realized.
